The course discusses sustainability challenges of organizations operating in the cultural industry in the stream of business administration and management.
The course examines both theoretical underpinnings and practical applications of sustainability and sustainable development contextualised in the cultural industry.

- consider the long-term consequences and implications of business decisions when analyzing situations and making judgements on sustainability challenges;

The class format combines lectures, interactive discussions and cases studies.During lectures, we will address organizations’ approaches to sustainability by analyzing sustainability strategies, plans and reports.- Oggetto:
Learning assessment methods
The evaluation is based on the understanding of the ability to analyse sustainability challenges in cultural industries and address a critical analysis on organizations’ approaches to sustainable development.For attending students, your grade (max 30L/30) will be determined as follows:- Proactive participation (2 points) during lectures.
- Project work related to a group assignment (8 points).
- Individual written exam with two open questions and ten multiple-choice on topics covered during the course (20 points).
For non-attending students, your grade (max 30L/30) will be determined as follows:
- Project work related to an assignment (10 points).
- Individual written exam with two open questions and ten multiple-choice on topics covered during the course (20 points).
The individual written exam has two open questions, each worth 5 points, and 10 multiple-choice questions, each worth 1 point. The individual written exam lasts 40 minutes (20 minutes for two open questions and 20 minutes for 10 multiple-choice questions).
The final mark declares the level of achievement and the grades of performance and satisfactory or unsatisfactory completion of course objectives:
- 28-30L: Excellent or Outstanding
- 25-27: Good or Above Average
- 21-24: Satisfactory or Average
- 18-20: Below Average or Poor
- < 18: Failed
The highest distinction (30 cum laude) will be awarded at the discretion of the committee if, in the individual written exam, the answers to the open-ended questions include a critical analysis of the subject under evaluation.
