Course objectives
Module 2 (Insights into Cultural Economics and Management) provides students with the basics of the economic and managerial concepts and methods involved in the analysis of cultural and environmental heritage problems. The module deals with analytical tools for the evaluation of artistic and cultural heritage, and on their connection with territorial institutions and systems, as well as their application in the various studies and reports on the demand and supply of cultural heritage around the world.

The module 2 (Insights into Cultural Economics and Management) aims at completing the student’s knowledge on Cultural and Natural Heritage economics and management, by the study of research reports and heritage world data.

The module 2 (management) is articulated in 12 hours of interactive lecture time and could include the development of practical exercises as homework.

The final exam will be provided in written form and articulated in open questions. The obtained mark will be considered as 1 out of 4 parts of the course.
Attending students may opt to do in-class work on research reports and/or cultural heritage data.
