At the center of the Cortile del Rettorato, the multimedia installation GEOdiversUniTO - Il bosco delle rocce conceived by Giulia Carluccio, Marco Giardino and Vincenzo Lombardo and curated by Marco Giardino and Luca Morino, illustrates the variety of morphologies, materials (rocks, sediments, water and ice) and geological processes that characterize the Sesia Val Grande UNESCO Global Geopark, a unique geodiversity space that hosts an exceptional sequence of rocks ranging from the earth's mantle to the lower crust to the covering rocks. A geological section of extreme scientific value, clearly visible on the surface and with continuity only in this area of ​​the Earth.
